2020 Sika Show and Competition

The 27th Sika Show will be held on the last weekend of September 2020 at the Great Lake Centre & Domain in central Taupo. This annual event is the largest outdoor trade show of this kind in New Zealand. More than 6000 hunters visit the show each year for the competitions, taxidermy, and the latest innovations in hunting and outdoor-related products and services. There are more than 150 exhibitors, ranging from outdoor clothing and footwear retailers to shooting suppliers, pest solution specialists, conservation groups, hunting clubs, magazines, guided safari operators, and many others. The roaring, duck & goose calling, heads and photographic competition are on as well. There are no changes to the usual format in 2020, except that it is door sales only this year.
