ISO ACCREDITATION

Taupo DeBretts is proud to be the only ISO accredited Holiday Park in New Zealand.

What is ISO?

ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies. Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market-relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.

What does ISO mean to Taupo DeBretts?

For us at Taupo DeBretts, ISO is a method of achieving world-class standards within our organization in relation to our quality system (procedures and forms), our Health and Safety regulation and the way we interact with our customers both in person and through the media. We currently hold an ISO9001:2015 certification.

 

QUALMARK AWARDS

We have been working with Qualmark for many years and have received a number of awards. We are delighted to report that we have achieved a 5-star rating for our Accommodations and a Gold Sustainable Tourism Business Award for our Waterpark. These are the highest Qualmark ratings possible and we are so proud to have achieved them.

This is an outstanding result that only encourages us to strive to be even better in everything we do. We have received some really good advice on how to achieve this from Qualmark which has helped us form part of our action plan for continuous improvement.

Receiving these fantastic awards from Qualmark means a great deal to us as it lets us know that we are on the right track in all areas of our business. We are by no means perfect, and that is why we are grateful for all the valuable advice we receive from Qualmark to both prepare our business for the future, and to ensure we are doing all that we can to give our customers an unforgettable experience.

 

FOOD CONTROL PLAN

As a business selling food, we take responsibility for ensuring that we have ways to make our food safe:

Our Food Control Procedure is designed to the best method where we meet the food safety requirements set out by the Ministry for Primary Industries.

The FCP here at Taupo DeBretts has been customized to accommodate our style of menu and show how we plan to manage food safely throughout the business.
