Great stay, fantastic accomodation and customer service. Will definitley stay there again in the future.
The pools are in an unexpected, stunning setting, surrounded by greenery. And the most relaxing foot and face massage ever! Well worth a visit to this hidden, magical place!
After being held up in Gisborne Friday night and ringing De Bretts to explain that I would not be able to make this nights accommodation, they were understanding. Better still, when I got there on the Saturday, they had allowed our two nights accommodation changed to Saturday night and Sunday night(which was not needed, as had to return to work on Monday morning :( ). I was also so happy to be advised that we had been upgraded to a two bedroom Chalet. What a suprise. The accommodation was outstanding, the atmosphere relaxing. I would like to thank everyone at De Bretts who made our stay the way its supposed to be. Time away without a care in the world. I would definately go again, this time for a longer stay. I have also already been telling people about the great service and accommodation.
We rented a 2 bedroom villa which was presented to a high standard. It had everything that we needed. The villa's are amazing with a good view. The whole experience at De Bretts was amazing and we had a relaxing whanau holiday.
Hello Our family had a brilliant time at De Brett's Taupo. We have stayed there before and recommend it to all our friends.
This place is awesome took our grandson to Auckland for a holiday and he wanted to stay somewhere that had pools. From the moment we went to check in the reception staff were just wonderful and they SMILED!!! wow and were happy pleasant just wonderful, such a great start. We booked an en-suite cabin, beautifully presented so clean another big tick. Also they were kind enough to put us close to the kids playground so we could watch out grandson these little things mean heaps. We were also offered a reduced price to visit the pools which was wonderful, couldn't keep our grandson out of them, and the Hydra slide was a huge success, they are so beautifully kept clean as. many thanks to all who made our holiday stay wonderful.
We recently spent a night in a 4 bed cabin during the Easter break at Taupo De Bretts. It was perfect for our family 2 Adults and 2 Children - warm, comfortable, air conditioned, double glazed for peace and quite, good TV/kitchenette facilities and close enough to the main toilet block, so that we did not mind not having ensuite facilities in the cabin. The kids made the most of the adventure playground and trampoline and we were close enough to keep an eye on them from our cabin. De Bretts reception staff were friendly and helpful and the cabin was spotless. We enjoyed the following day at the spa and hot pools and our only regret was that we couldn't have stayed longer! I would definitely recommend this quality accommodation to anyone.
Great place to stay!! Everything was clean and the chalets are very spacious! Hot pools were very relaxing. Definently staying longer next time. Highly recommend this place.
“One of the best equipped campgrounds we have seen. Soap and a hairdryer in the bathrooms and free showers, plenty of barbecues, fantastic lounge with books and comfy couches. Clean and spacious kitchen. Do not hesitate to book in here.”
We had a lovely holiday and I think that you are very proactive in promoting DeBretts, well done. We always stay with you when we are passing through, and we have a lovely time, (unfortunately we live in the South Island and don't pass through your way much).
