What is ISO?
ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies. Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
What does ISO mean to Taupo DeBretts?
For us at Taupo DeBretts, ISO is a method of achieving world class standards within our organization in relation to our quality system (procedures and forms), our Health and Safety regulation and the way we interact with our customers both in person and through the media. We currently hold an ISO9001:2015 certification.
We have been working with Qualmark for many years and have received a number of awards. We are delighted to report that we have achieved a 5-star rating for our Accommodations and a Gold Sustainable Tourism Business Award for our Waterpark. These are the highest Qualmark ratings possible and we are so proud to have achieved them.
This is an outstanding result that only encourages us to strive to be even better in everything we do. We have received some really good advice on how to achieve this from Qualmark which has helped us form part of our action plan for continuous improvement.
